Linda Boivin, a native of Western Colorado, moved to New Mexico in 1992, when she began performing with the Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra & Chorus, the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra (now New Mexico Philharmonic) , and the Community Orchestra of Albuquerque. A graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts, she played in the Charlotte and Phoenix symphonies before relocating to Albuquerque. She spreads her love of music by teaching violin privately; several of her students participate in Albuquerque’s Youth Symphony Program. Linda and her husband, Dan, a civil engineer, are the parents of two daughters, Kelsey and Aubree. Linda’s other interests include remodeling and refurbishing their historic home in Albuquerque, and gardening.
