Eight Unforgettable Saturday Evening Concerts at Popejoy Hall
Our 2026–2027 season features powerful masterworks, celebrated guest artists, and unforgettable performances. The season opens with Jessie Montgomery’s energetic Starburst and Dvořák’s iconic “New World” Symphony, followed by Olga Kern performing Grieg’s Piano Concerto alongside Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony. Additional highlights include Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7, Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto No. 1, and Brahms’s Symphony No. 3. You’ll also hear Sibelius’s Violin Concerto with Geneva Lewis, Copland’s Appalachian Spring, and Ginastera’s Estancia Suite, before the season concludes with Orff’s Carmina Burana and Mahler’s Symphony No. 6, “Tragic,” in Music Director Roberto Minczuk’s final performance.
