Roberto Minczuk conducts his final performance as NMPhil Music Director, leading Mahler’s Symphony No. 6, the “Tragic,” a work of immense scale filled with emotional tension and weight. Members of the Albuquerque Youth Symphony join the NMPhil onstage for the opening work, performing side by side in Wagner’s radiant Prelude to Act 1 from Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg.
