An evening of passion, power, and unforgettable voices! Join the NMPhil for The Three Sopranos, a spectacular showcase of operatic brilliance and orchestral drama. Featuring the dazzling vocal talents, this program brings beloved arias and ensembles to life in an unforgettable night at the symphony. Experience the fiery spirit of Bizet’s Carmen with selections including the Overture, Habanera, and the dramatic Card Trio. Be transported by the lush beauty of Delibes’ Flower Duet and the shimmering elegance of Strauss’ Final Trio from Der Rosenkavalier. The program also features Osvaldo Golijov’s Suite from Ainadamar, a powerful and poetic tribute to the life of Federico García Lorca, and colorful orchestral works including Strauss’ thrilling Don Juan, Chabrier’s exuberant España, and Torroba’s evocative La Petenera.

Beloved works fill the season, including Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, Debussy’s La Mer, Ravel’s La Valse, and a spectacular evening titled The Three Sopranos, featuring cherished arias from the operatic repertoire.
