The upcoming Popejoy Classics Season is filled with thrilling music, world-class soloists, and unforgettable performances. Mahler Cycle with Symphony No. 4 will be opening the season and Symphony No. 5 closing it. Acclaimed pianist Roman Rabinovich will make his much-anticipated debut with the NMPhil. The phenomenal Karen Gomyo returns to perform Schumann’s Violin Concerto. We welcome back guest conductor Francesco Lecce-Chong, and debut Alejandro Guillén Gómez on our podium in February. Beloved works fill the season, including Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, Debussy’s La Mer, Ravel’s La Valse, and a spectacular evening titled The Three Sopranos, featuring cherished arias from the operatic repertoire.
