Begin with Berlioz, as his Roman Carnival Overture will fill your senses with a mesmerizing musical adventure. Also on the program, Vítězslava Kaprálová’s stunning, remarkable Suita Rustica, which was inspired by her Czech heritage. Then, after Mendelssohn’s warm, adventurous, and much-loved Symphony No. 4, “Italian,” Dvořák’s lively Slavonic Dances, Op. 72, Nos. 2 and 7 will ensure you’re ready for a great day ahead!
