Jonathan Davidson, tenor, is a second year Master’s student at the University of New Mexico studying choral conducting and vocal performance with Bradley Ellingboe, Rodney Eichenberger, and Leslie Umphrey. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from Eastern Oregon University. Currently, he is the graduate assistant for Dolce Suono, Co-Director of the Chamber Singers, tenor for the UNM Concert Choir, and intern choral assistant at Central United Methodist Church. Jonathan has served as music director for Elgin Opera House’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, as well as chorus master for UNM Opera Theatre’s The Magic Flute. Jonathan has served as Alfred (Die Fledermaus), Ismay (Titanic: The Musical), and Papa Bear in The Bear Essentials of Opera. Jonathan has been the tenor soloist for Elijah with Wallowa Valley Chorale, tenor and guest conductor for the Wallowa Lake Church Camp, and tenor soloist for Haydn’s The Seven Last Words of Christ.
