After the success of last year’s Power Concerts, we are back for a new season of illuminating, affordable, family-friendly concerts! The NMPhil Power Concert series is geared toward introducing young audience members and their families to classical music, the orchestra, and the instruments that make it all possible.
We kick off with “The Piano, Percussion, & Rachmaninoff,” an amazing concert featuring first-prize winner of the Olga Kern International Piano Competition, Jonathan Mamora, and the piano music of Sergei Rachmaninoff. The rest of the percussion section will also be featured in music by Rachmaninoff, Richard Strauss, John Williams, and more. Bring the whole family and listen, learn, and enjoy!
