Tchaikovsky Festival! Your NMPhil starts the season with the majestic and sublime sounds of Tchaikovsky. Enjoy three concerts of iconic music by the Romantic Russian master, including some of his most famous works and featuring pianists Olga Kern and Sylvia Thereza. 

The Tchaikovsky Festival kicks off with the vibrant Polonaise from one of the composer’s most famous operas. Then, Olga Kern in the dramatic and intense Piano Concerto No. 1. The first festival concert ends with a musical excursion through the forces of fate, with blazing brass, bassoons, and sumptuous strings in Symphony No. 4.
