A Magical Family Event for People of All Ages, Featuring the Beauty & Energy of Orchestral Music: NMPhil Power Concerts is a series of affordable concerts approximately 1 hour in length that are geared toward introducing young audience members and their families to Classical music, the orchestra, and the instruments. The concerts will take place on Sunday afternoons at 3 p.m. We are excited to announce that the series which will highlight a composer(s) and an instrument or family of instruments. The May 28 concert will focus on the composers Camille Saint-Saëns and Aaron Copland and will feature the violin, cello, brass, and percussion sections. With repertoire from the Baroque to the contemporary and from the highest piccolo to the lowest tuba, join us for these illuminating, family-friendly concerts!
