Continue or start your own history with that famous opening and the incomparable music that follows with your NMPhil performing Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, the work that made its composer a superstar in the Vienna music scene of the early eighteen hundreds. And when the concert is in a church, why not play the organ? Maxine Thévenot serves as your guide for Handel’s B-flat Organ Concerto, one of six organ concerti composed by the Baroque genius.
