Harpsichordist Kathleen McIntosh has been a Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival artist since 1996, and has performed in festivals in the United States, Cuba, Japan, Peru, Spain and Germany. She has appeared as soloist with chamber orchestras in places as diverse as Russia and Vietnam, and taught in Havana, Lima and Opole (Poland). An enthusiastic performer of contemporary music, she has premiered works by Melinda Wagner, Leo Brouwer, John Steinmetz, Carl Mansker and many others, and will premier a work by Gregory Spears with Chatter on October 12 and 13, 2019. A resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico, McIntosh has appeared with Severall Friends, the Santa Fe Symphony, Santa Fe Pro Musica and Serenata of Santa Fe. She can be heard on Maricam Studio and Gasparo recordings.
