Ian Mayne-Brody

cello

Cellist Ian Mayne-Brody is from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ian completed a Bachelor’s of Music in 2012 at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, a Master’s degree in cello performance at the University of New Mexico in 2015, and a Graduate Certificate from UNM in 2022 with Albert Laszlo. Ian has performed in numerous chamber and orchestra ensembles, and recently won positions with the New Mexico Philharmonic and the Amarillo Symphony. Ian is enthusiastic about championing the works of the 20^th and 21^st century, and also performs regularly in several chamber ensembles in New Mexico and Colorado.
