Ron Bronitsky
Ron Bronitsky, a native of Albuquerque, completed his education in the city’s public schools and at UNM before earning his MD at Vanderbilt Medical School. With a 40-year career in pulmonary/critical care, he has now entered retirement and is exploring the world of piano playing. Since 10th grade, Ron has been playing the bassoon and remains an active member of the Bosque Bassoon Band.
Beyond his musical pursuits, Ron has a passion for collecting regional art spanning from the early 1900s to the present. Raised by parents who were longtime supporters of the New Mexico Symphony, he continues the tradition by actively contributing to the New Mexico Philharmonic. Ron serves on the board, hosts musicales at his North Valley home, and orchestrates incredible dinners auctioned off at the annual gala.
In addition to his contributions to the world of music, Ron is renowned for his award-winning pies, which are in high demand. His overarching goal is to witness the growth and prosperity of the New Mexico Philharmonic, fostering musical excellence and harmonious collaboration with the talented musicians.
